EVERYDAYAs a expert of branding and design, I was thrilled to be part of the comprehensive rebranding of South Korea's largest big box retailer, Emart. This innovative retailer offers a wide range of imported foods, premium wines, Korean specialties, and eco-friendly organic products, along with a line of exclusively designed home products co-created with international designers. Our goal was to make the everyday special for Emart's consumers, and to do so, we created a new positioning of "everyday..."We delivered this vision as a complete branding experience, including a new identity, strategy, advertising campaign, visual system, retail design, social media presence, digital touchpoints, uniforms, and more. The bold use of color, authentic photography, and smart, simple copy brought the brand vision to life. Emart, owned by Shinsegae holding company, will have 168 stores in Korea and 57 in China by 2023, solidifying its position as the largest retailer in South Korea.
