PLAY

IBM MOBILE FIRST APP

PLAYAs a creative who is deeply influenced by the work of Paul Rand, the mastermind behind IBM's brand management for many years, I was inspired by Rand's use of "play" as a core component of his creative process. In his words, "Without play, there would be no Picasso. Without play, there is no experimentation. Experimentation is the quest for answers." This philosophy served as the foundation for the 21 pieces of conceptual art I created for IBM's innovation conference in the EU. Each artwork was inspired by a different innovative figure in technology or science, and the artworks themselves were produced as a playful and aesthetically stunning expression of their ideas and inventions. Some of the innovators featured include Konrad Zuse, Hedy Lamarr, Copernicus, Torvalds, Babbage, Rosing Bull, Archimedes, Celsius, Padre Himalaia, and Niels Bohr. Working on this project for IBM was particularly meaningful to me, as my father worked with Paul Rand in the 60s, and the opportunity to carry on Rand's legacy with this iconic brand was truly an honor. Created in collaboration with Jorge E. Narváez-Arango, Executive Creative Director at George P Johnson.

MOBILE FIRSTAs a part of IBM's Mobile-First initiative, I conceptualized and brought to life a series of tablet apps to simplify and captivate the audience with the company's complex offerings. The messaging was centered around the "Made With" creative platform and provided the global sales team with the flexibility to tailor case studies to meet their specific needs. My role in the project spanned from the initial wireframes to the final execution, showcasing my expertise in creating intuitive and engaging experiences.
